“My wife and I got married at the Ivanhoe on the 1st of December, 2023 and I cannot speak highly enough of the entire team (but especially Paula and Wallace) for the way the day was handled from start to finish. Absolutely everything was taken care of without any blips whatsoever. The attention to detail was first class. From the layout of the rooms (one suite for the Ceremony and another suite for the Dinner / Reception) to the lighting, the music, and the table service (the food was hot, and everyone loved it), everyone who attended commented on just how lovely a day it was. We also had some family and friends stay over, and everyone thought their rooms were terrific. So a massive THANK YOU for helping us make it so special and memorable.”

Back to the staff, I have been to many hotels, and I can honesty say I have never come across such an amazing, happy, polite staff TEAM and they are a team, The bartenders on the night of the wedding made the whole event so much more fun, service with smiles on their faces all evening, dancing behind the bar and while collecting glasses or in some cases taking the drinks to the tables. They clearly loved their jobs.”

The meal was beautiful and served hot and not one of our guests was kept waiting, a perfect meal for 120 guests. We had a party of guests who had travelled from England and they were very impressed with the hotel and the service. Everyone keeps telling us it was the best wedding they were ever at!
